  • Eli, the house construction in Europe is different. The 'drywall' in our houses compares to many houses there as 6 inches of brick walls. Poor woman. And the article says that the lock was broken, but it is likely that it was really the doorknob - (language or translation problem).

  • I had WiFi installed on my computer so my granddaughter could use her laptop when visiting. Does that mean that when I use my desktop in the usual way, the WiFi displays to passing rogues although it is not logged on with password?

  • A fourth grader is not a "small child". How is it that toys are taken to school anyway? In the not so long ago history of our American culture, the parents would have given a second reprimand (or punishment) for the son bringing toys to school.

  • I work in Beverly Hills CA and my hanging plant and my vertical blinds started swaying. I thought it was a strong wind getting through the sealed windows on my 7th floor office. Then I heard about the quake. Our building is constructed on "rollers" and I can tell when distant quakes occur.
